There are quite a few activities and sightseeing excursions you can embark on, or you can relax on the beach with a good book. if you are feeling active, then scuba diving is one unforgettable experience. The clear waters and coral reefs around Zanzibar make this a top diving destination. Whatever you decide, you'll be treated to an underwater paradise teeming with exotic marine life that includes rays, turtles, puffers, clownfish, and even whale sharks. You may even get lucky and be able to swim alongside a pod of dolphins. Kayaking is another great way to explore Zanzibar's coast. Hop in a one or two-person kayak and paddle leisurely along the stunning white beaches. Or get on a stand-up paddleboard and traverse the waters with an expert guide alongside you. This area is also great for fishing. The nearby Pemba Channel is home to six different types of billfish, plus you can reel in trophies such as yellowfin tuna, wahoo, king mackerel, barracuda, and marlin. There's also the option for a sunset cruise, which is a great activity whether you're traveling solo or with that special someone. Hop in a traditional dhow (wooden sailboat) in the late afternoon and sail around the tranquil waters with a glass of champagne as you enjoy the gorgeous vermillion sunset. Often, these tours stop at idyllic little islands where you can go ashore and stroll the white-sand beaches amid ancient baobab trees. Be on the lookout for dolphins swimming alongside the boat! The architectural style of Stone town buildings is a unique mixture of various influences and culture. You will see Zanzibar’s bustling market, winding alleyways, ornately carved and studded doors, two c cathedrals and countless mosques. Stone Town has some excellent gifts shops with plenty of souvenirs and handicrafts to choose from Prison Island The island lies just off the Old Stone Town, it is also a home to giant land tortoises that were imported from Seychelles in the late 19th century. Now it is more commonly known as a home of Zanzibar’s Giant Aldabran Tortoise colony, some of which are over a hundred years old. Once on the island, you have theopportunity to feed and pet the tortoises; if you have time you may also like to take a stroll through the forested interior where you will see a wide variety of birds, colorful peacocks. Early Breakfast at the hotel Today, you will enjoy a trip to Kizimakazi for the Dolphin tour Dolphin Tour The most popular dolphin spotting location in Zanzibar is in Kizimkazi village located on the Southern coast of Zanzibar Island where you can see both bottle-nose and humpback dolphins. Several bottle-nose dolphins stay at Kizimkazi all year-round. There are also rather shyer humpback dolphins that put in an appearance here, although their schedule is a little more erratic. Dolphin tour is best very early in the morning, because in the afternoon as the sun rises sea water tends to become warm, therefore dolphins dive deep down the sea bottom to escape heat, for the guests who stay in Stone town hotel, we pick them up from their hotels at 06:00am and 05:00am from beach hotels.
