Your 11 Days Madagascar Honeymoon Tour begins with an arrival at Ivato airport. You will meet your travel companion there who will later transfer you to the booked accommodation at Antananarivo. The capital city of Madagascar is a multi-hued attraction offering you a variety of entertainment and leisure activities. Check-in to your hotel and the day is free for your leisure
Enjoy your breakfast and get ready to reach the Andasibe that will take around 3 hours of the journey. Passing through the eucalyptus forests, terraced rice fields, upland slopes, the journey takes you in the heart of the valleys. On your way explore the Marozevo where you can visit the Pereyras reserve. This is the breeding centre of many species as reptiles, butterflies, the amphibians and variety of chameleons. Later continue your journey to Andasibe and check-in to your booked lodge. The time calls for an excursion of Vakona reserve to explore the habitat of crocodiles and other endemic wildlife of Madagascar. You will be served the lunch before encountering the lemurs by kayaking to the island. The small island is completely dedicated to the living lemurs in the semi-wild condition. You can feed them and explore the remaining nocturnal species as lépilémurs or microcèbes. Get back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
You will be served an early breakfast at Andasibe and later proceed for your journey to Mahanoro that will take aroudn4 to 5 hours. Reaching the Mahanoro river dock for a cruise tour, you will ride along with serene backdrop for 3 days. The first stop is Pangalane, where you will be visiting the villages to observe the tradition, taste the delightful cuisines and explore the art. The path takes you through a number of villages nestled by the canal. You will stop at the Ampanalana village to learn more about the culture, interacting with the villages and their head. Reach the campsite in Asohihy where the late afternoon is at leisure. You can stroll around the beaches and observe the magnificent sunset
Continue your boat cruise from Asohihy to Masomeloka to explore the small sheltered villages and the vegetation of palms. Reaching the village, take a tour to explore the origin of tribute and the signification of pristine elephant stone. Continue your journey with the Pangalanes to reach Analampotsy Lake. Passing through the changed course of the channel and the niaouli forest bordered by the sands of the channel, you will reach Analapotsy. The next stop falling on the way is Nosy Varika known as “The island of lemurs”. The place once the resident of Lemurs is now a developed place where you can pick up the essential for lunch. The journey proceeds to Ambohimahatsinjo that is the best place to spot the fishermen, coming and going by the time. Spend your night at the campsite with dinner and a leisure sleep
Leave early from the Ambohimahatsinjo campsite to continue your eastern highlight tour. Reaching the Ambohitsara, you will stop to discover the charm of the last village on the East coast. 'Antambahoaka' the ethnic community belongs to the region where you can discover their lifestyle, house, culture and a lot. visit the Vato Sarilambo or white elephant that relates to the origin of the tribal community. Explore the Betsabetsa factory manufacturing the local mead. In the afternoon enjoy the fresh seafood as lunch and the boat ride continues to reach Ampadimana village crossing the Andragnazavaka bay. The villages offer a tour to discover the handicraft and the art of the region that you can buy as souvenirs. Proceeding the journey, you will reach Mananjary where you will be transferred to the hotel for an overnight stay
After your delicious morning breakfast, the day is for a tour of Mananjary where you can meet the Antamambahoaka tribe and learn about their culture. The past of this enchanting town along the Indian Ocean, a genuine water town bordered by the Mananjary stream, and the lovely tidal pond where the Pangalanes channel destroyed have earned it the name of Pearl of the Indian Ocean. You can take a rickshaw to explore the market region and Plantation of Vanilla flower. The rest of the day is for leisure stay at your hotel
Your morning meals will be served at the hotel before heading out to your further journey. You will be dropped at Manakara from where you will board the train to Fianarantsoa FCE. The FCE connects the East side of Madagascar and the coastal city of Manakara to Fianarantsoa that is known as the capital city of Betsileo. The city exhibits a serene landscape marked by the hills and plateau, 67 bridges and 48 tunnels and more phenomenal attractions. Discovering the beauty of the region, reach the Ambalakely to end up the tour and proceed for the further journey. You will reach Ranomafana by the afternoon where you will check-in to your booked accommodation and relax for the time. The later afternoon is best to explore the towns and the French colony. There are attractions like Valbio research centre to learn about the biodiversity of the region. Spend overnight at the property in Ranomafana.
Get up early in the morning for a walking tour in the dense tropical rainforest. The natural settings of the park overlook the beauty of deep gorges, high cliffs and the abundance of flora and fauna. With a morning tour, you can discover the wilderness of the region followed by the magnificent landscape and the indigenous flora and fauna belonging there. You can discover a variety of 110 species of birds, out of which 36 are endemic. There are species of chameleons and frogs, lemurs, hapalémur with a snub nose, gold hapalémur and lot more to spot in the region. Get back to the booked lodge for your leisure stay for rest of the day
A tempting breakfast will be served at the lodge before you check out to proceed for the journey. Drive towards the Antsirabe en-routing the Ambositra that is known as “city of roses”. You can discover the cradle of Malagasy that houses wood carving art, wooden sculptures and a lot more. You can possibly buy the wooden accessories as souvenirs for your family or friends. Continuing the journey to Antsirabe, check in to your booked accommodation and later head out to explore the region. Discover the various cultures, the communities residing there, their lifestyle, houses and the highlights of the community. You will spend the night at your accommodation in Antsirabe
Starting the day with a morning meal, check out to reach the city of Antananarivo. On the way explore the local cafes and handicraft shops, the valleys, rice fields, the mountains and magnificent backdrop. You can take a break at Ambatolampy where you can visit the craft shops and shop a little. Reaching your accommodation at Antananarivo the day calls for a leisure stay
Your 11 Days Madagascar Honeymoon Tour ends with breakfast at the hotel, check-out and the tour guide will assist you for the city tour before dropping you at the airport. You have time to enjoy the tempting cuisine at the café and discover the beauty of the city. Later reach the airport to board the flight for onward destination.
